I should be starting preproduction on "Invasion" soon and I am aiming to shoot on 35mm 2 perf.
Also, I am in talks to film another 35mm feature film this year in England.

Also filming a couple of spots.

Just wrapped a music video for singer Twizzle for Squarepeg / Run Prods.
We shot with the Red in East London.
After a few headaches I've updated the site...
I'll be at MPC grading the teaser "Invasion" shot on Kodak 7207.

Very happy with the respond of the new Kodak Vision 3 stock under low light interior and exterior set ups. Fantastic colour rendition and sharpness.
AUGUST 2009
Shooting a trailer for a feature film on S16mm and framing for a 2.35 aspect ratio.
I will start preproduction very soon on the feature film "The Finest" (Idris Elba, Lucy Liu, Anthony Head) shooting on S35mm.
JULY 2009
Been filming a few spots and promos including some stuff for McLaren and Virgin where I got to meet Sir Richard Branson and also
F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
MAY 2009
Started filming the short "The Woman and the Machine".
It's the first time in a long while that I am not shooting on film and we will be shooting this piece on HD.
As I usually say, "you have to master the craft and update to new technologies but the truth is that the ability to create a story with
powerful images comes from inside".
APRIL 2009
Started preproduction on the short film "Spring Valley", a S16mm anamorphic prequel to the Feature Film we will be shooting afterwards.

Exciting times ahead with preproduction for a 35mm Feature Film starting soon and I have also been reached to shoot two more Feature Films
that are now in their last stages of financing.

"The Hollow" Feature Film is now wrapped.
NOVEMBER 2008
About to start production on the Feature Film "The Hollow" to be shot over the next few weeks in southern England in S16mm.
Interesting times ahead as I will be shooting a couple of very nice and visually challenging shortfilms at the beginning of the next year.

The effects for "Punch Drunk" are almost finished now.
We are going through a DI and I will start grading next week.

Met with Artist / Director Valentina Lari to DP on her next short film "Dead in the Throat: Or the last Song of the Birdwoman".
This is a very challenging film shot in S16mm straight to B/W negative and inspired by Bergman, Turneur and Resnais amongst other influences

Started preproduction on the shortfilm "The Green" to be shot on S16mm in St. Helens.
Johnny Vegas will be one of our main casts and the film will be shot on S16mm with a 35mm blow up.

Red Hood is being screened at the Cannes Film Festival in the
Short Film Corner section.
APRIL 2008
Just wrapped filming main photography on "Punch Drunk", S16mm short directed by Ben Kent.
Completed filming the S16mm music video "Devil in the Detail" by the upcoming band Silvery for Blow UP Records.
I will be adding some more details shortly.
Spent a week with the bunch from Lenzflare in Copenhagen shooting a lot of 35mm stuff testing Fuji and Kodak stocks.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Danish cinematographer Jan Weincke and shared with him
some very long and interesting discussions.

Have finished a piece filming Christopher Lee for Uli Meyer Studios and their latest Feature project "MonsterMania".

I will be filming the 35mm Feature Film "The Golden Nest" for Pixel Productions. We'll be shooting in various locations in India and the UK for over 11 weeks at the end of summer 2008.

Just wrapped filming a spot in High Definition for RME, with some very good choreography by some of the dancers from the Matthew Bourne Ballet.

I was invited by Fuji to a presentation of their latest film stock, the Vivid 160T.
Great color saturation and contrast and a very crisp image. I will be posting some more info about this soon.

Just wrapped filming the majority of exterior shots for the upcoming short "Red Hood".
Filming on S16mm with my Aaton XTR with Kodak Vision 2 7218. We'll be resuming filming in mid March.

Starting preproduction on the new shortfilm "Red Hood". Directed by Navin Devin, I'll be again filming with my Aaton XTR on S16mm. A fairy tale with desaturation in colours an two main locations. Post production will be done at Molinaire. I will be updating with more news.
Just finished filming a commercial in High Definition with the HDW F750P. A lot of green screen work and the camera performance was excellent.

Sven Nykvist passed away. Sven Nykvist, considered by many to be one of the greatest cinematographers of all time has left us last September 20th in the afternoon.
He was retired already for a few years. Sven Nykvist was born in December 3rd 1922 .

my own Aaton XTR. We'll be filming on S16mm, 1.85 aspect ratio.Technicolor will be processing
